Usage Guidelines

  1. Preparation: Before using the device, apply a small amount of eye cream, serum, or gel around the lower eyelids. This step is essential to maintain skin moisture and enhance conductivity. If you notice a decrease in the current sensation during use, reapply the product sparingly.
  2. Device Contact: Make sure the device is in full and firm contact with your skin. If the sensation becomes weaker, gently press the device against the skin for better conductivity.
  3. Adjustment for Even Current: If the current is felt on only one side, adjust the device to fit more snugly, similar to how you would adjust a pair of glasses. A proper fit on both sides ensures an even distribution of the current across both eyes.
  4. Operation Time: The device is programmed to operate for ten minutes and will automatically turn off after this duration.

It's crucial to use a cream, serum, or gel as a conductive medium for the device's microcurrent and EMS technology to function effectively. Evenly apply your chosen product under the eyes before using the mask.

Ensuring full contact of the mask on both sides of your face is key for an even distribution of microcurrents and optimal results.

EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) Mode:

In Alume, EMS mode gently stimulates the muscles around the eyes. This stimulation can lead to increased muscle tone and circulation, which may help reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. The gentle muscle contractions triggered by the EMS can also promote lymphatic drainage, a process that can help remove the build-up of fluids that often contribute to eye bags.

Microcurrent Mode:

The microcurrent mode in our mask is designed to provide a subtler level of stimulation that encourages cellular activity and collagen production. With consistent use, this can lead to improved skin elasticity and firmness. The microcurrents work at a very low level, which is often used in aesthetic treatments, aiming to tighten the skin and reduce the signs of aging by smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.

When combined with the therapeutic light from the LED feature, both technologies work synergistically to help refresh and revitalize the skin, addressing concerns like dark circles, eye bags, and signs of aging. While the EMS mode targets the muscles for a more toned appearance, the microcurrent mode focuses on skin repair and rejuvenation at the cellular level.
